Frame Ideas

So, I was doing a little online Christmas shopping--it's the only way I can seem to do any shopping this year--and it's killing me because I am such a relish the season person. I am all about getting hot chocolate and going from shop to shop picking out gifts for everyone in the freezing cold weather! I guess this year I'll just have to settle for opening up the windows and sipping Swiss Miss in front of my computer!

Anyway, I totally went off on a tangent there! As I was saying, I was doing some online shopping at Crate and Barrel and just happened upon their picture frames. They have some very nice, affordable frames--simple, elegant and pretty. I really like simple frames that don't take away from the art inside of it. So if you are looking for a frame or two take a look at these frames--I especially like the Wall Frames, Tanner Wall Frames, and Tatami Frames.

I couldn't blog without posting a picture--I am furiously working on Holiday cards for my clients, and I just ordered this one--it came back beautifully. Isn't he a doll!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

This will be my last post for a little while as I prepare to enjoy Thanksgiving with my friends and family. This session was the last of my sessions for 2007--and what a great way to end!! We did the session downtown--which is perfect for older kids. There is so much color and texture on the downtown mall--I just love it!! First, is the little sister. . .what a sweetheart!

Next is her older brother . . . absolutely stunning!

I really enjoyed working with these two--I haven't shot a lot of older kids, so I wasn't sure how things would turn out, but these guys were so pleasant and well mannered! They have a wonderful relationship and truly cared for each other--so nice!! I hope everyone has a truly restful and fun Thanksgiving! I'll be back to my normal stuff next Monday.

The Quest for a Christmas photo. . .

Anytime that you have more than one kid to photograph, it can be tricky! Making sure everyone is looking and has a nice expression, no one is closing their eyes, etc. Well . . . with this session, I had four adorable kids! I know their mom was worried that we didn't get any good ones with all four, but we got a few! How could you not with such beautiful children??

We also got a few individuals--Love this one!

Well, I could keep posting--they all turned out so great! But I have an appt. so I'll stop for now! I should have one more post before Thanksgiving! Stay warm!

PRICE INCREASE

I will be raising my prices as of January 1, 2008--both prints and session fee. This will NOT affect anyone who is ordering prints before January 1, 2008. If you have booked a session for 2008 before 2008, I will honor all of my 2007 prices for you. Also, if you are considering booking a session anytime in 2008--Jan-Dec., and you go ahead and book now--or any time before 2008, I will honor my 2007 prices (session fee and print prices). My calendar has just opened up for 2008--so now would be a great time to get a session booked for 2008.

Simply Stunning!

This is one of my Christmas minis from this weekend. It went so well! Isn't he just stunning? His mom came with a couple different outfits--which allowed for some variety, even in a shorter amount of time! I LOVE this first one--the red and brown with the straw in the background.

His mom made his hat! She is so talented, and I am planning on featuring some of her hats here on my blog in the next few months--stay tuned! Hats are a wonderful way to add some fun and character--especially in the winter months!

Fun Filled Fall Day!

This was a wonderful family--so fun and easy going! It was a great fall day! We got some really great shots! Playing in the leaves!

Brown Eyed Boy!

This session was so much fun! This little guy was such a sweet heart. Mom had such great style, and dad was totally laid back! Here's a few of daddy and his boy!
