Hot Mama!!

I got the dream maternity shoot today--a gorgeous woman who was willing to do anything I asked. It was so much fun! As you can see, they turned out beautifully! Click on any of the images to see them larger.

The other day, in the midst of all my craziness, my son and I went for a walk in the quaint town of Davidson, NC. I don't do stuff like this often enough. It was really nice spending a little time with just him. It's also a huge bonus that he loves to have his picture taken. Here's a few from our walk. . .

For Holly. . .

Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing one of my closest friend's sons. Her oldest also happens to be my son's best bud! See below. Yes, they can stir up some trouble every once in a while! Make sure to click on the photo to see it a little larger.

We split the shoot up into two days so we had lots of props, scenery, and outfit changes!

My Mother's Day!

This weekend we had to go up to our new "stomping grounds" and get a few things done. So we ended up spending Mother's Day there too! It was such a wonderful time and my husband treated me so well! I just had to share about it. We ended up visting a few vinyards . At the first one we had a delicious picnic. . .

And because it was Mother's Day--I made them indulge me with a few photos. . .

At the next winery there was a creek--and the kids had a ball! They were soaked by the end of the day!

It was so wonderful watching my family have a great day--I couldn't have asked for a better day! I hope all of the mom's out there had a wonderful day!

I caved.....and I'm so glad I did!!

Okay, so my daughter is always begging me to get her hair cut. I'm not talking a trim--I mean she wants it whacked off!! So in a moment of weakness....I caved in and said okay! She got a good six inches cut off--and we all love it! Though she's not the most patient subject, I was able to get a few good shots. . .

Until I started to get the rolled eyes "okay mom, enough!!" look!

On a side note. I have just gotten a new computer and monitor. I am still working with the color. So I am not sure if it needs to be adjusted. I know I need to calibrate it, but haven't had a chance, so.....if anyone of my fellow photographers could tell me what they think of the color, that would be great! Catch ya later!
