Christmas!!!

Well it is that time of year, believe it or not! This year I will be offering Christmas Mini Sessions on October 13th and 14th. They will take place on the downtown mall in Charlottesville. Sessions will last 30 min. and will be booked back to back. There are a limited amount of sessions available and they will fill up fast! So call me to hold your spot!!

These sessions are specifically for Christmas photos/cards. The cost is $100/session and this includes one box of 25 5x7 postcard style Christmas cards. I will have examples to show you at the session.

I have a Christmas section on the main menu of my website that gives further details and answers some questions you may have. But if you have any more questions, please feel free to call or email. You can also take a look at my entire card collection by going to my website, click on "clients" on the menu, enter the word "cards" for the password and it will give you a slide show of all of my cards. I will probably be adding a few more in the next few weeks as well.

If these above dates do not work for you, I will consider doing some more mini sessions on other dates, however, I will need at least three sessions in order to schedule anything.

All orders for cards, as well as, photographs and albums need to be placed NO LATER than DECEMBER 1st--to ensure a timely delivery. I will not be doing any sessions(with the exception of newborn sessions) during the month of December, so get something scheduled before December if you are hoping for cards or photos for gifts this year! I know this is a lot of info--so call if you have more questions or are unclear about something.

My little girl turned 9 this weekend! It is so hard to believe. It really does go by so fast!! Lately, I have been taking a lot of pictures of babies--and it's really made me realize just how fast life goes by! People used to tell me that, and some still do--I used to think "Uh, you haven't been hanging around my house all day changing dirty diapers", but now I understand. The days seem to crawl by, but the years fly by. Anyway, here are a few photos of this past weekend. They are not the most perfect, but my #1 job this weekend was not photographer, but mommy instead. If you can't tell, there was a kitty cat theme going on.

This is sooo pathetic, but our only family shot in a very long time--I think I need to make an appointment for my own family portraits because this one will certainly not be gracing our Christmas card this year!

This post may be a little longer due to the fact that this shoot was two ADORABLE twin baby girls! I have been sooo excited to photograph these two little dolls! I haven't had the opportunity to photograph twins much at all, so I was a little concerned with how things would go--but, I couldn't have asked for an easier set of twins! They were so agreeable and dainty--like two little ladies! Needless to say, I had a ball, and we got some great images too!

Still in love. . .

. . . after all these years! This weekend I had to go back to NC for a little bit of work. While there, we stayed with my parents. I had given my mom the gift of a photo session back in February, for her B-day, and this if the first time we've had to do the session! Anyway, it was a lot of fun to photograph my parents! They have been married--um. . .around 35-40 years (sorry mom and dad that I don't know the exact amount), but as you can see from these photos, they are still very much in love! I am glad I was able to capture that for them! I know I don't tell them very often, but they are wonderful parents and I love them very much! This first one is of my two little loyal subjects--just getting some practice shots.
